About the Journal

Idealized in 2006, the Revista do Instituto de Ciências Penais (ISSN 1809-192X / E-ISSN 2675-5874) is designed to be a safe haven for the Brazilian Criminal Law, aiming at the promotion of peer-reviewed knowledge according to the rigid international parameters.

Since 2019, it became fully published in the open access format, facilitating the dissemination of the content produced.
